Update: We need YOU!

Back in January Unscripted 2019 launched out of Cambodia for their 11 month journey of following Jesus and bringing out His Kingdom among the nations. How crazy!

In Cambodia we had two weeks of training camp where we dove into what the Kingdom of God is and how to seek it first, what ministry is and how to partner with our Father in that, as well as the practicalities of traveling the world.  

It has been three months since my squad started this journey. Holy moly.

They have been through Cambodia and Thailand, and are currently in Malaysia about to head into Indonesia. 

In these three months I’ve gotten to watch how confident this group has become in the truth of our Father being present, with them every day, and the ways He speaks to them. I’ve watched them begin to navigate what it looks like to trust what God speaks to their teammates and be willing to follow each other. I’ve watched them step out more and more in evangelism and sharing our Good, Good News! And I’ve watched them not just go out on mission, serving the nations, but begin to develop a missional lifestyle that they will continue walking out when they go back home. 

 

That is what Adventures in Missions exists to do. AIM exists to to mobilize a generation of Christ followers, discipling and training them to establish the Kingdom of God amongst the nations.

These are my people.

It has been one of my greatest honors getting to train, guide, and simply walk beside them on their mission thus far. And I am so excited to go meet them in Indonesia in just a couple weeks to debrief their first few months as well as share some teachings for the months to come!

 

In the meantime I am looking for supporters to partner with what Adventures in Missions is doing both among the nations and in the States. This money goes to supporting our long term bases (such as Swaziland where we have 30+ carepoints for people with HIV/AIDS, India where we are helping to plant churches, and more!) and contributes to the funds I need to continue going out to train/equip these Unscripted disciples throughout their journey.

I currently have two fundraising goals I’m trying to meet. Overall, I need to raise $12,000 per year during my time on staff here. The halfway point for this first year is in one week. I am currently in need of $2,500 to reach this goal. However, the best way for me to continue reaching this my future fundraising goals is through monthly donors. I am currently still in need of $750 in monthly donations to reach my goal of $1,000/month.

While that sounds like a lot, if two people were willing to commit $100 a month, four commit $75, and five commit $50, I could reach this goal!

It is incredible looking back and knowing that I am at this job because of the way so many of you poured into developing me as a person and supported my own World Race journey through prayer as well as finances. And I can’t thank you enough as you continue support me pouring into developing of others through their World Race journey.
